High Commission Based Sales Position (Job#073) Minimize
Data Minds is a leading provider of information technology consulting, systems implementation, and administration services in the Mid-West and Mid-Atlantic regions and has multiple sales position openings in the following metropolitan areas: 
  • Baltimore, MD
  • Chicago, IL
  • Cincinnati, OH,
  • Cleveland, OH
  • Columbus, OH

  • Washington, DC.
Successful candidates will be contacting previously identified leads in order to set appointments for our technical staff to followup on. If we are able to close a sale on a set appointment, our sales force receives very significant portion of the recurring revenue from that sale.

Described below is entry-level compensation package designed for the first 90 days of the sales program.  If all the sales goals are achieved and both parties want to continue in the business relationship, then a new compensation package will be drafted with more benefits for long term employment.  We are expecting a rapid growth in the market with the proper sales people in place.

Understand you are going to start out doing a lot of cold calls. This will be a 100% commission-based job, but the commissions are substantial. Please make sure, when you respond to this add, you write a paragraph or two as to what type of person you are, why you want the job, and maybe why you feel you have what it takes to fill the position.

 Job Requirements
  • Min 10 calls per day (50 per week)
  • Track all sales and leads via a Customer Relationship Management tool
  • Create reports of lost sales and reasoning as to why
  • Assist in developing strategies for reaching and penetrating new accounts
  • Assist in developing sales programs to meet individual customer needs.

Data Minds Design Group Acting Manager (Job#072) Minimize
Data Minds, an Information Technology Services company based in Pittsburgh, PA has a need for a Web Design and Hosting Group Manager.

Scope:
Formally reporting to the President/Principal Consultant but ultimately to our clients, the Group Manager is responsible for web design and hosting teams and for client interaction on their respective projects. The Group Manager contributes to the overall web-design and web communications strategy, and special projects.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Manage the process and create design prototypes, including graphic design, navigation, and layout of content, for the company and client websites.
  • Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary.
  • Create visual concepts that match the website content and the image desired by the clients.
  • Build websites using technologies that conform to international standards and make sure that they are universally accessible.
  • Manage the websites' maintenance aspect as requested by the clients.
  • Provide guidance on training and maintenance options to our clients.
  • Contribute to the overall development of the company web presence and communications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or other discipline related to the primary responsibilities and two to four years of experience in web design or related project management.
  • Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and of digital imaging and illustration.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, PHP and dynamic HTML; experience with Macromedia Flash an asset.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
  • Very good spoken and written English skills.  Other languages a definite asset.
  • Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Ability to work with a distributed team of professionals and to communicate in a clear way with customers and the development team.

Enterprise Sales Executive (Job#071) Minimize
Data Minds, an Information Technology Services company based in Pittsburgh, PA has a need for an Enterprise Sales Executive.

Scope: Responsible for developing client base in the Mid-Atlantic and Mid-West regions selling consulting service offerings, managed service offerings, implementation services & hardware & software technologies within mid-tier and large enterprise accounts.

Will work with pre & post sales resources to manage sales cycles end to end. This position is supported by an inside service coordinator, pre-sales engineering & post-sales engineering. Individual will direct team responsible for identifying opportunities, architecting solutions & closing sales.

Background Required: Industry experience selling professional services, enterprise software technology sales, especially document scanning, routing and document management systems, storage and backup systems, virtualization, hosting and hosted services. Enterprise practice areas considered are ECM, information security, network security, storage, routing/switching, WAN, WAN load balancing and other appliances, database solutions & messaging solutions.

Strong emphasis placed on storage hardware & software related experience. First hand experience with companies such as Omtool, Autonomy, FatPipe Networks, IBM, Cybernetics, EMC, Cisco, Microsoft, Trend Micro, HP, VMware, & Citrix desired.

Evidence of professional sales training, knowledge of sales cycle, forecasting & CRM utilization.

Education: Bachelors or Equivalent Market Experience Preferred.
