Is a 99.999 percent SLA not enough?

Stability of Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructures is an ongoing concern for IT managers as WAN/Internet connectivity is vital for many companies as a tool to run critical business applications. Although ISPs offer SLAs up to 99.999% reliability, based on their network topology, this is not enough because it does not protect the company if the outage happens in the last mile of connectivity. Any downtime results in immediate losses and is unacceptable to most network managers.

IT trends, including the growing popularity of Service Centralization, Data Center Consolidation, VoIP, Supply Chain Management, and CRM tools, are forcing the need for 100% WAN uptime. Reliability:

Security Enhancement:
